Continuity of Certification

"Continuity papers" are documents attesting to the fact that an individual holding a particular certification continues to abide by the requirements of that certification. If a particular certification has expired, then it is not possible to submit "continuity papers" for that particular certification.

It is an individual responsibility to maintain continuity and monitor the expiration date for any certification. Fees associated with maintaining continuity are an individual liability. Please click here for more informaiton.

Continuity in welding experience is required to be maintained by UA Certified Welders. As of February 2005 your continuity papers need to be sent to the Union Hall. If you are employed please have your employer submit the paperwork, if you are not employed see the Training Center for continuity papers. If your employer needs a blank form please have them contact the Union Hall, or to print a form click here.
